4. The girls are still trying to figure out who A is and it seems like we are getting closer and closer but then it all twists around and we are back where we started. A is still taunting them to the extreme. The last thing the girls want is for there secrets to be exposed and everyone finding out about the "The Jenna Thing". We finally found out that Alison shot the fire cracker at Jenna and it was Alison's fault. Spencer is hiding a deep secret about what happened that night ( Jenna Thing ). We found out that before Toby had gotten into the cop car he had Alison that he was going to get her........

17. Emily's motto is probably," Don't show who you are be plain but don't be your own person or at least don't show it". Emily hides everything. Even her own parents don't even seem to know who she really is. She's hiding a big secret that could roughen her in her small town of Rose Wood. Emily has the same old life She leaves for school than after school she goes to her swim meet and then she goes home. Now that A and Maya have entered her life Emily's whole world is upside down.

It bothers me so much that Toby was forced to take the blame for Aly but I don't totally understand why he took the blame. I do not think that Toby is A.Yes he said he was going to get Alison and it would make sense but usually in any show they try to make you think something and whatever your trying to find out turns out to be something else.

Dear Journal,
I prey to god everyday for a better life to dance with the wind and listen to the birds cheep. Instead of being told orders from George and having to take care of the children although I love them all I dream of another life.

14. Which character would you like to be like? In what way? Why?
I would like to be Aria because she knows who she is and she feels comftorable with herself. She is very strong and confident and out of all the characters I would like to be more like Aria in this way.

16. Make up a motto that one of the characters seems to live by. How and why does this fit the character?
Moana's Motto would probably be "Don't be yourself be who everyone else wants you to be and climb your way to the top of the social tower!

17. Which character would you like (or not like) to be your friend? Why?
I would not want to be friends with Alison because she is a bad influence and she makes sure she gets whatever she wants.She talked behind everyones backs and she was not a true friend.

Reading response!

1. I have four main characters in my book. Similar kinds of stories and movies are the clique and Mean Girls!
2.This book does not totally relate to me very much but the main setting is at school and it talks about cliques and the losers and that reminds me of High Tech Middle.
3.I wonder who A is I really want to know!
4.They just found alison's body and now the four friends are getting horrible texts saying that they are written by A.I think next we might find out what happened to Aly.
5. My favorite character is Spencer and Aria I do not like Moana. I like Aria and Spencer's style. Moana is a mean spoiled brat!
6. Her fathers face showed the tiniest glimmer of sympathy but he quickly looked away. I liked this line because it really shows how the Hastings do not show there feelings.The Hastings live to impress other people!
7.The author goes into great detail and uses words that make me nervous and frightened.
8.It made me nervous scared to see what happens next!
9. When Spencer stole Melissa's fiance that was wrong but Melissa needs to forgive her because they are sisters!
10. I'm not really confused right now.
11. I would tell the police about these texts they are getting and what Toby said to Spencer about Aly!

13.Pretty little liars is a series of books and for sure I want to read them all!
14. I would like to be more like Aria she does not care what people think of her she is strong and stands up for the people she cares about!
15.Aly is very important because she is not the main character but she is the story Aly died and the story is about finding out what happened to her.
16. Spencer's motto is probably "live up to what other people want you to be."
17. I would not want Moana to be my friend because she is a social climber and uses people.
18.I really do not think I would change anything I really am loving this book it is so great.
19. The book is a roller coaster first we suspected Toby but now I think Moana and the detective or maybe it is one of the girls but it's not confusing!
20.It upsets me that Emily Hanna Spencer and Aria keep so many secrets from each other.

Mice and Men

1. The rabbits in the novel represent Lennie and George buying land and being free. They look forward to it and that's all that keeps them going everyday. Lennie wants rabbits because he wants to pet them and soft things make him feel happy! Lennie and George's lives are really hard and they need something to look forward to. Lennie and George are exhausted moving from place to place and they don't have a lot.
2.Curly represents lack of freedom. Curly is one of the obstacles George and Lennie have to face before they get their land. Curly is controlling and mean. He hates Lennie because Lennie is bigger than Curly. If George and Lennie did not have a boss like Curly they would feel less controlled at the farm.
3.When Lennie killed Curly's Wife I was scared and did not know what to think. I was shocked and sad when that happened. I think either Lennie will be hung. Another possibility is that George and Lennie will escape and go to another farm in another town. I hope that Lennie and George escape because Lennie has a mental problem, but at the same time, what if he kills someone else?
4.Curly's wife represents a dream that's never going to happen. Meaning she had dreams like moving to Hollywood and becoming an actress. She also wanted to get out of the farm and leave Curly. We didn't know for sure but it seems unlikely that her dreams would come true. Now we know for sure they are never going to happen!

Dear Diary Curly's Wife

Dear Diary,
I long for the days when I had my friends and my mama and papa.I never want to have a family with curly I hate that man.I want to get off this ranch filled with farm hands!Curly doesn't love me.I know it!I do!
Today I noticed two new farmhands who knows what there names are stupid farm hands.That man Slim yelled at me today he told me to go clean some dishes. I am tired and I want to socialize!I prey to god he will get me out of this place hell.
Curly is mean and I am planning my escape from this place.I will get out of here I will I know.I will do everything that I possibly can.

Journal Entry in the perspective of Lenny

Dear Diary,
Today Curly came into the bar and was extremely pugnacious he wanted to fight but he did not hurt me no George would have protected me yeah George would not have let him touch me.Luckily George would not tell Curly nothing derogatory or confidential to that man Curly no Surrey.After Curly left I asked George what that was all about George gave me a brusque reply. Then I settled down and went on to bed.
I woke up the next morning feeling mollified I woke up George. George always had a hard time waking up. He was harsh and rough but I was use to it you know.George wasn't being very social so I walked next door to the black man in the small room.
When I walked there he was sitting on his bed he yelled," Dumb man don't come in my room don't be stupid run off." I did not want to leave he was so black. " Hey black man you come here me want that mouse," I yelled. The mouse ran under his bed he got up trying to push me away I pushed him too the other side of the room I grabbed that mouse and ran off.
Look at that mouse so cute cute mouse.He was not moving I walked in the barn to see George "Hey where is my pup I want it because mice ain't no good."

George and Lennie

1. George treats Lennie very rough but you can tell he still cares about him. I think George knows Lennie will always have his back but George still gets annoyed.
2.George and Lennie have had a dream for a long now what they call the American Dream. They want to live "off the fat of the land". Lennie wants to have bunnies and take care of them because they are so soft. They wish for a better life.
3.George says Migrant workers who travel from farm to farm are the loneliest people in the world because, The workers know the only person they can trust is themselves and they travel from farm to farm even if it is a week trip.

Sine I was little I always dreamed of being a teacher. I wanted to teach 1st. Grade.To be a teacher I need to graduate High School go to collage and get a teaching degree.That's why I need to work hard.

Dream gone wrong???

My sisters dream was to be a hairdresser but that dream went wrong when she realized she hated touching other people's hair but she liked the creative side.

What makes a good Friend??

A good friend. A good friend is someone that makes you feel special.A good friend is someone that makes you feel comftaroble and makes you smile.A good friend is someone that protects you and would do anything for you. That's more than a good friend that's a true friend.

Friends are very important if we didn't have friends life would be extremely boring.If we did not have friends what would be the point of life? Favorite book from summer

My favorite book I read this Summer is Pretty Little Liars. The book is about five best friends.
When one of the girls dissapears during a sleepover that's when it all goes wrong. Later Alison's body is found and the easiest people to blame it on is the girls. Did one of the girls kill Alison?
